Steve Edrington, a broker/agent since 1992, has experience with transactions ranging from simple residential condominiums to significant apartment rehabilitations and multi-million dollar transactions.

A 1993 job as a real estate appraiser was the lucky “accident” that launched his career.  He quickly developed a talent for analyzing and evaluating properties, an important key to his success today. Combined with his degree in finance, it was a quick leap to real estate investment brokerage, first with Grubb and Ellis and later with Moison Investment Company. He specialized in investments, primarily apartment buildings, and launched Edrington and Associates in 2000. Since then, Steve has also become skilled in renovating outdated or distressed properties and adding value to homes and neighborhoods.

In addition to invaluable practical experience, Steve expanded his expertise by qualifying as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Certified Property Manager (CPM). He is also an International Code Council (ICC) California Residential Building Inspector.

Testimonials

Jake & Mahtab

“Steve’s guidance allowed us to get a great value on our purchase and make our winning bid without overpaying, which can be tough to achieve in this competitive market. Further, we very much appreciated his approach of always allowing us to make the final decisions, but always with the benefit of his expert advice and guidance.  We would not be in our wonderful new Oakland home and renting out our rental unit without Steve Edrington!”

“I can’t think of a better person to have handled our transaction than Steve. His knowledge is off the charts and he helped us through many complicated issues we needed to address before selling our triplex.”
